High Expectations for Inception?

As the dozen or so early reviews of Inception come pouring in, the verdict is somewhat in. Critics are lauding it as the best film of the year and the film that will save a somewhat lackluster summer in the movies. In mere days, we will find out if Inception is worth all the hype it’s been getting from the critics.

Yes, Toy Story 3 has success in both departments but it’s not really what you would call a “mature” movie, although I would beg to differ. The hype for Inception has reached the fever pitch height that I can only liken to James Cameron’s Avatar.

So far the summer hasn’t been exciting, box office-wise. This time last year, there were so many great and box office winners to choose from. But after big budget movies underwhelmed audiences – Prince of Persia, Sex and the City 2 and Robin Hood, to name a few– the 2010 summer movie season is turning out to be a big fat flop.  Even the highly anticipated sequel Iron Man 2 couldn’t start the summer off with a bang. With the exception of Toy Story 3 and Twilight Saga: Eclipse, moviegoers haven’t been showing their support in the cinemas. That’s why people might surely Watch Inception Online come the big day.

Inception by Christopher Nolan

Director/writer/producer Christopher Nolan is best known for reviving the Batman franchise with Batman Begins and the spectacular sequel The Dark Knight. He has also helmed other note-worthy films such as The Prestige and Memento. This summer his film Inception which stars Leonardo DiCaprio in a lead role will blow audiences away. I don’t know about you but I’m excited to watch Inception online free so should you.

The 39-year-old British-American has a filmmaking style that is intriguing.
