The Clash of the Titans Draws Near

The original 1981 film is a movie full of action, a spectacle flick and has amazing stop-motion visual effects. Set in the realm of the classic Greek myths, Clash of the Titans returns with its 2010 remake, a movie which is sure to be loved by everyone.
Avatar’s Sam Worthington pays the role of Perseus, the half-man/half-god (demigod) who finds himself stuck in between mythological creatures throughout the race of the movie.
Harry Hamlin stars in the original COT with wavy 80’s hair and a white toga, the very point of the role is to seek peculiarity at first glance, and it was clearly conveyed, Worthington explained.
New characters are also being introduced in this film, including Gemma Arterton as Io. The talented actress is famously known as Strawberry Fields from the movie Quantum of Solace. Arterton who plays a warrior chick altered quite a bit throughout the shoot.
To those casual fans of Greek mythology, Io appears to be a bit like Athena to Odysseus in the way that she guides Perseus on his journey and helps him. Though obviously Io has a more earthly presence than the grey-eyed goddess. And she seemed to always be in the midst of the different action scenes in this new Clash.
Clash of the Titans will be hitting the big screen this April 2. Its visuals and story line will be enjoyed more by the audience as the producers of the film decided to have the flick in 3D too.
